Torrette – A Lovely wine for Lovely moments

Like I said before, although I am sorry for the delay, I had the joy to participate at Mondial des Vins Extremes and this way I had the honour to taste some of the world’s most appreciated wines.

I tend to think that every wine tells another story and this way, Torrette  is a perfect mix between a strong taste and a specific wine perfume in which you can sens the purity of the wine but not the taste that will soon follow, way in which it gives you a pleasant surprise.

Coming from Cave des Onze Communes on the edge of Aymavilles, in Aosta Valley, Torrette is only one  among the 13 wines produced by the winerie.

Owning territories of Dora Baltea in places like: Quart, Saint Christophe, Aosta, Sarre, Saint-Pierre, Villeneuve, Introd, Aymavilles, Jovençan, Gressan and Charvensod at not less than 550-900 meters above the sea level, Cave des Onze Communes, manages, to offer each year, to the world, one of the most esquisite wines, among which also the Torrette.

Although this year, Torrette wasn’t among the winning wines of Mondial des Vins Extremes, Cave des Onze Communes still had three awarded wines (which unfortunately I didn’t managed to taste, because Torrette is more popular and I was curious to taste it, since it was also among the tasteble wines) :  Valle D’Aosta Doc Petite Arvine 2015,  Valle D’Aosta Doc Mayolet 2015 and Valle D’Aosta Muscat Petite Grain  Fletrie 2014 – all three awarded with golden medals.

It is therefore a must to knwo that such wines, like Torrette and the golden medal awarded wines of Cave des Onze Communes come from a very carefully supervized technological environment where nothing is left by chance. They have even been nice and showed me the ”backstage” so I could understand what’s happening and show you too some pictures 🙂

There are so many wines in the world, so many tastes, so many people and so many ways. We all have dreams, moments and love stories to tell, to travel and to live, but no love story has ever been lived without a glass of wine, no matter how good, it will not be the same without a glass of wine, and If I could choose the right wine to share with a loved one, that will be Torrette.
